Project by group sdhswinsteadspring2018

Explore We know plants are green and drink water and breath co2.
Research Question We want to see if the color of light affects the rate of photosynthesis.
Predictions We think the yellow light will work the best because it is the same color as the sun
Experimental Design Our plan is to to put 12 leaf disk in a seringe and suck the air out of them. Then we are going to put them in a cup of 100ml of water and 1g of baking soda. We will leave the cup of water under a light and change the light bulb every 3 trials. Every trail will be 10 min and every minute we will record the # of leaves floating.
Conclusion We are hoping that the yellow light is the superior light bulb in the rate of change in photosynthesis.
