We know that photosynthesis occurs when a plant collects different UV rays from the sun, and a water source through its stromata. So, that it can create its own food using its chloroplasts. |
Research Question |
Will different types of plants (leaves) affect photosynthesis’ rate of change? |
Predictions |
The possible outcomes of this experiment is that the results show that the rate of change in photosynthesis will increase.. |
Experimental Design |
In our experiment, we will use.. Oak tree, Spinach, and lastly Monkey grass leaves. In our experiment we will control the amount of baking soda (0.2%) to suffice for our solution, the type of light bulb, and the amount of leaf disks to conduct this procedure. |
Conclusion |
We came to a conclusion that only Spinach increased the # of Leaf disks collected; and changed at a positive rate when we were collecting data for our experiment... Our reasoning is based on how many leaf disks that were collected during this experiment.. Although, our predictions kind of matched up with our results.. Spinach out-did all of the plants used for this process. Collecting a total estimate of 16+ leaf platelets. |
