Explore plants need to do photosynthesis and the different wave lengths of light will effect the speed of growth and the plant
Research Question will the change in light lengths to the ferns effect there growth
Predictions we believe the red and green will grow at the fastest rate and the control would be in the middle with the blue at the back
Experimental Design we wrapped our plates of spores in different colored foil and put them in the sun room. then about every 5 days we would look at them all under the microscope and measure the biggest hermaphrodite spore that we could find, we then marked the plate so that we could stay on the same spore for the rest of the experiment. we measured out spores with the arrow pointer in the microscope on both legend and height to find the are of the spore.
Conclusion we found that the red and the clear control were the most growth and the blue was the 3rd most and the green dish hardly grew at all and was at the bottom of the pack
