Research Interests (300 words)I am interested generally in evolution and how new species are formed. Currently I work on how evolution proceeds following gene duplication such as in polyploidization, how that proceeds in independent lineages, and how that can create new species due to differences in compatabilites.

Science encompasses so many different and nuanced fields that can be so interesting! Don't be discouraged when one doesn't interest you. Find another.
