Explore I know that plants are a big source for all living things, we really wouldn't be able to survive without them. They give us oxygen, keep carbon dioxide and provide us with many useful materials.
Research Question Would the seeds mass come from the sun ? Is there something else the mass can come from ?
Predictions For the hypothesis we thought that dish 1 would be the greatest because everything needed is provided then we think that dish 2 will be not so good because it's missing sunlight
Experimental Design 1- gather materials 2 - put 3 paper towels/petri dishes 3 - place 1 g of radish seeds into each dish 4 - place dish 1 next to window w/ water 5 - place dish 2 in the dark w/water 6 - place dish 3 next to window without water 7- leave dishes placed there for 1-2 weeks 8 - place dishes in drying oven to remove water 9 - weigh the mass of the dry seeds 10 - write results on table 11 - make a bar graph w data
Conclusion On the experiment we want to really see what plant would have a bigger mass and how much it would grow
