Research Question Does a seeds mass come from water? Does a plant need soil to grow?
Predictions For the hypothesis we all agreed that dish 2 will have the biggest mass and dish 3 is going to produce less mass.
Experimental Design Gather the materials Put paper towel into three petri dishes Put 10 gram of radish seeds in each dish 1st dish add water & place in the light 2nd dish add water & place in a dark cabinet 3rd dish place in the light but dont add water Keep them in those conditions for two weeks Place seeds into drying oven & remove all excess water Weigh the mass Record the data on a table Make a bar graph to explain the results
Conclusion Dish 2 will have the biggest mass and dish 3 is going to produce less mass.
