| Research Question | Research questions-We want to test out the bugs and animals on the trees and see what bugs are on the trees. We came up with the question because Jadyn wanted to know how people affected trees because he wanted to make sure he wasn’t hurting the trees with things he does in his everyday life and then our science mentor said to ask about bugs and animals living in the trees. The question fits because we know that there’s a lot of damage to trees but we don’t really know all of the reasons for the damage so maybe if we research this question a little more we will be able to notice that maybe animals and insects are the reason for all the damage in trees and people don’t really hurt them that much. -Jadyn |
| Predictions | Prediction- I think theirs gonna be a lot of bugs on the tree. I think people affect a lot of trees because of pollution and trash. We should start noticing how animals mess with the trees also. I think bugs affect them a lot. I think it will be hard to count all the bugs affecting the tree.- Alexis |
| Experimental Design | Experimental design-our plan is to look at trees and figure out what trees they are Also to discover bugs and other animals on the tree.The variables we will test are we will discover 3 species of trees and we will see how many bugs we find on them.We will measure the trees and graph on how many bugs each tree have.We will graph our data with pictures to identify the tree and we will try and count how many bugs there are Also we will try and see what the bugs have done to the tree or how it affects the tree.Also we will be identifying various of bugs on the tree and we will figure out facts about the bugs. -Nikos |
