With plants, we grow in with soil , water, fertilize and plant the seeds within containing light. In class we have discovered that we have to individually place small holes that are not connected so the seeds can grow individually on its own. I would like to know how much water will make a plant not grow properly? |
Research Question |
We want to test if the plant is growing properly and following the guided steps that is need to take directions towards. We come up with questions by asking are the seeds grown and germinated? In which this relate towards the planting and germinating procedure. |
Predictions |
The possible outcome are that all the seeds that are planted will be fertilized correctly in which will become full plants. This will happen if we follow the directions that are guided towards us and take care of the plants properly. |
Experimental Design |
Our plan is to water the soil fully, plant the seeds, place it in a refrigerator for 48 hours and then place it in a greenhouse. Then, water much is needed and let the plants germinated for 7 days in which you make sure to water and fertilize for another 3 weeks. We will record our dates by keeping track on what days we check to water and fertilize and mark it down on our notebooks. |
Conclusion |
Our claim can be that the plants will grow correctly in the greenhouse in which we will keep track of our tallies of what days we water and fertilize. If we contain information to back up what we think our claim will be then our experiment will go as planned. Containing outside research could be helpfully but as long as everything looks correct it shouldn't be a problem. Future experiments could be taking more advanced steps and possibly growing vegetables such as tomatoes or cucumbers. |
