phswcrogersfall2017 project 4

Project by group phswcrogersfall2017

Explore Outside school we knew that plants grow with the sunlight and the water we put on them. But after we researched about plants they actually require sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide also nutrients for the plant to grow. A question that interest us is that how do plants get their food?
Research Question we want to study witch colored light will effect photosynthesis for the best or the worst.
Predictions i predict that the green light will not allow photosynthesis to work properly because since the chlorophyll is green it absorbs a lot of light and reflects green so it wont have light to work with to allow photosynthisis
Experimental Design Our plan is to see use various colored light bulbs to see what light is best for photosynthesis by punching holes out of the leaf and putting them in a cup of water, each cup with leaf disks have there own colored light. We would collect our data by collecting the things that happened.
