Spinach Photosynthesis Lab

Project by group othsmikosspring2021

Explore Plants preform photosynthesis all over the world in order to stay alive. We know that plants require carbon dioxide, water, and light to preform photosynthesis.
Research Question Does where the light came from affect how fast photosynthesis occurs?
Predictions We think the plants will go through photosynthesis faster with the sunlight instead of the desk lamp light.
Experimental Design We will put one cup of water with 10 spinach disks in it with the teaspoon of baking soda inside with a desk lamp as its source of light energy and one cup that's exactly the same outside with sun’s light energy.
Conclusion The cup of spinach receiving sunlight took longer to preform photosynthesis compared to the cup of spinach receiving lamplight.
