Plants need CO2 to perform photosynthesis. How much CO2 is efficient for them? |
Research Question |
Do plants perform photosynthesis based on how much Carbon Dioxide is available? |
Predictions |
The leaves with more carbon available will perform photosynthesis faster than the other leaves. |
Experimental Design |
We will full two cups with water. One of them will have 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda and the other will have 2 teaspoons of baking soda. Then we put our leaves in. We put a lamp over them to distribute light evenly. Every minute, we check to see how many leaves have floated to the top of each one. |
