Research Question We want to test how water levels affect the germination and growth of pea's. We were intrigued by this question because we know that water is a critical part in the growth and germination process, and we want to know how big of an impact the different levels of water are on peas and other like crops.
Predictions We think that the plant with the least amount of water won't grow as much because with less water it won't really grow. Then we think the plant with more water would grow better. Also we think that the plant with the most water won't really grow because it has to much water.
Experimental Design We will design three glass plant chambers, all glass chambers will have three pea seeds. The three chambers will be set up the same. They will have the same amount of sunlight, soil and oxygen, but a different amount of water provided. One will have not enough water, the second will have the perfect amount abd the third will be over watered. We are going to record our data with 2 different charts, a T-chart and a line graph. We will be observing the night of the plant and how many leaves will grow through out the experiment.
