Explore We know that plants will thrive in some environments better than others. Will pea plants survive better in a humid environment or in a regular environment?
Research Question Do plants grow better in a damp environment rather than an open enviorment?
Predictions I think the plant growing in a damp is going to grow more than the planet in open air. I think this because the plant will be able to absorb more and more water.
Experimental Design Our plan is to have a plant in a closed and humid environment and a plant in open air. We will measure the plants in inches and observe which plant has grown more over time. The experiment looks like this: 1 pot w/ soil, pea plant and in a enclosed container surrounded by water droplets. Another pot with soil, a pea plant and exposed to air. The soil, plant, pot and area it is put in will be the same. We will also be watering both plants daily.
Conclusion When our experiment is over we can determine if damp environments have a negative or a positive effect on a pea plants growth.
