water supply and rootlength

Project by group kisederfall2018

Research Question Does the amount of water supply a carrot-seed accesses have an effect on its rootlength?
Predictions The more water the plant gets the shorter the roots and vice versa. The water supply does not have an effect on the rootlength and all plants will have the same rootlength.
Experimental Design Material: carrot seeds measuring beaker water earth plant pots measuring tool Method: 1. put seeds into earth 2. order them ( 3 Groups with 9 plants each) 3. put them into a greenhouse 4. water them for 20 days with different amounts of water (35ml, 15ml, 30ml) take the plants out carefully after 20 days 5. measure rootlength
