Photosynthesis converts carbon dioxide and water into sugar and oxygen. Light influences photosynthesis. Glucose is then used in Cellular Respiration. |
Research Question |
How do three different colored lights affect the amount of oxygen produced by photosynthesis? |
Predictions |
Warmer colored lights will increase the amount of oxygen being produced. Because most plant growth seems to happen in warm bright environments; tropical. Such as red, yellow, and orange lights. So out of red, blue, and white we have, red will increase the plants oxygen production the most. |
Experimental Design |
Using ten leaf discs for each light and including half a tablespoon of baking soda. We can record which lights affect the production of oxygen during photosynthesis by watch the leaf discs rise to the surface during a fifteen minute duration. We record every |
