Explore Photosynthesis converts carbon dioxide and water into sugar and oxygen. Light influences photosynthesis. Glucose is then used in Cellular Respiration.
Research Question How do three different colored lights affect the amount of oxygen produced by photosynthesis?
Predictions Warmer colored lights will increase the amount of oxygen being produced. Because most plant growth seems to happen in warm bright environments; tropical. Such as red, yellow, and orange lights. So out of red, blue, and white we have, red will increase the plants oxygen production the most.
Experimental Design Using ten leaf discs for each light and including half a tablespoon of baking soda. We can record which lights affect the production of oxygen during photosynthesis by watch the leaf discs rise to the surface during a fifteen minute duration. We record every
