We know that plants are living things and need sunlight, soil and water to live,We have learned that plants take in co2 and produce oxygen. |
Research Question |
We are testing what type of plants take in the most co2. We came up with this question by picking it from a list are teacher gave us. This question fits into are topic by knowing what place take in the most co2. |
Predictions |
Some possible outcome of this experiment is that one of the place takes in more co2. Are explanation for why this will happen is because trees are all different shapes and sizes so they must take in co2 differently. |
Experimental Design |
Are plan is to fill 3 cups with baking soda and water. then put three different plants in the cups to then see in intervals of 1 minute how much co2 they take. The variable that we will test are how much co2 each plant takes up. The constant variable is the amount of light. We will record this in a time table. |
Conclusion |
A claim that we can make from this experiment is that yes different plants do take in co2 at different rates. Some explanations are that some leaves are more co2 deficient than others. They support are claim by proving that not every plant has the same co2 intake. Some future experiments that we can do are having more plants in the experiment. |
