Project by group chswelchposfall2023

Explore Plants come in all different types and sizes but they all use photosynthesis.
Research Question What effect(s) do light and dark have on plants? It fits the topic because we want to figure out effects on photosynthesis.
Predictions We predict that the ones in the dark will less likely float than the ones in the light.
Experimental Design We put 13 leaf disks in 6 different cups of water and added different elements to each cup. 2 cups had baking soda, 2 cups had breath water, and 2 had nothing. 3 of them were put under a light source and 3 were put in the dark.
Conclusion We can make the claim that photosynthesis occurs in the light and when you put them in the dark they are missing the elements they need to float. The ones in the dark didn't float and the ones in the light floated
