    My research interests focuses on invasion ecology of introduced plant species, conservation of native plant species, and restoration of degraded habitat.

    What is your favorite plant? Why?

    My favorite plant is Delonix regia. It as beautiful and colourful red flower, usually produces its flower between May - August in Nigeria. It one of my favorite experimental plant because I use to teach my students on such flower in angiosperm, and also pollination.

    What is the coolest thing you have discovered or learned about plants?

    I will say plants are smartest organism on earth. Smartest in that they can't talk but still communicate between one another, they are also unique in character and adaptation in relation to the environment they found themselves

    Do you have advice for students about preparing for a science career?

    Science is facinitating Journey, where you learn about new discovery daily. Science is challenging but to overcome that challenge you need to be openminded, be ready to accept new technologies, procedures because science is always evolving
