  There are no typical as each day and week is different. However, I usually spend some time trying to create a learning environment so my student will learn by doing or without me telling them. I also spend some time grading and working on committee work. I try to set aside some time to read research papers or a new book.

Glad you were able to work on this project.  You results are really interesting.  Did you make a graph or table of your results showing your data?  How many germinated in 1ml, 3 ml, 5ml etc?

Sounds good.  Let me know when you start seeing the seeds germinate.  I keep asking you about your Control because I wanted you to think about experimental design and have you include one treatment of seeds in the Petri dish…

Hello all,

Sounds good.  Let me know when you start seeing the seeds germinate.  I keep asking you about your Control because I wanted you to think about experimental design and have you include one treatment of seeds in the Petri dish with a paper towel but no water.  I would not expect the seeds to germinate if they are dry but in science, we want to be sure..

I will be out of town the rest of the week and weekend but will check back with you on Monday morning.
