Research Interests (300 words)I'm immensely interested in understanding diverse plant forms through the lens of anatomical, developmental, and molecular findings. My research aims to explain the twisting phenomenon that occurs within the plant family Fabacaeae. I specifically investigate how the production and composition of plant cell walls affect plant phenotypes. In this case, how it affects a plant's ability to twine. This involves investigating cellular characteristics and connecting them overall plant structure.
