  • Research Interests (300 words)
I'm immensely interested in understanding diverse plant forms through the lens of anatomical, developmental, and molecular findings. My research aims to explain the twisting phenomenon that occurs within the plant family Fabacaeae. I specifically investigate how the production and composition of plant cell walls affect plant phenotypes. In this case, how it affects a plant's ability to twine. This involves investigating cellular characteristics and connecting them overall plant structure.

  • Profile Question 1
Do you have advice for students about preparing for a science career?

  • Answer the question you selected for profile question 1 here (300 words):
Be open to exploring new subjects! Science is such a broad subject, with hundreds of sub-disciplines. Even if you settle into Plant Biology, the world to explore is endless :) Embrace the vastness of the field and be excited to learn new things every day.

  • Profile Question 2
