Hi Alisa, Jordan, and Em!

I'm My, and I'm a final year undergraduate student studying Biology and Chemistry. I grew up in Vietnam but I'm currently going to Oberlin College in Ohio. I'm very interested in plant evolution, especially plant development and systematics. I'm writing my final year honors thesis on the breeding system evolution of the Hawaiian endemic plant genus Schiedea, on how the evolve from hermaphroditism (having both male and female reproductive organs on one individual) to dioecy (having separate male and female individuals). Would love to talk more about this if anyone is interested!

I love Taylor Swift and Adele, but not lucky enough I never got to go to their concerts I play the guitar, harmonica, paint, and gardening in my free time. I've never been to Hawaii, but hopefully that will be my next vacation.

I saw a really nice graph of the Floating Leaf Disk Experiment. Please feel free to tell me more about your experimental design - Mindy posted some great questions earlier that you can think of. I would love to hear more about the experiment, and have some discussions on the results y'all achieved!
