• Describe your teaching experience and interests in a brief public biography (200 words)

  This coming school year will be my 28th in the classroom. My whole career has been teaching in an all-girls, Catholic school setting. I enjoy science and high school students, thus teaching has been a perfect fit. I enjoy traveling with my family during the summer and experiencing nature and new people and then bringing those experiences back to my classroom. I also enjoy getting my students out of the classroom and into the "real world" when every possible (fieldtrips, projects, skyping etc). I've found that the longer I have been in education, the more I don't know and that summer workshops introduce me to people and experiences that make me a better teacher.
