  I have been teaching for 20 years. The first part of that was in an elementary classroom and then the last 8 years in a middle school science classroom. I have a bachelor's degree in elementary education from East Texas Baptist University and a Master's degree in Science Education from Walden University.
  
  My personal interests include hiking, gardening and reading. My family and I enjoy most things in the great outdoors.
