  I have taught middle school life science and high school biology in large Title I schools here in Anchorage, AK. I use case studies 3 or 4 times a year in my curriculum to give context to major concepts and provide opportunities for students to apply their learning. This year I'm piloting NGSS curriculum for the district (AK adapted Inquiry Hub).
