    I'm interested in how plants that have been brought to North America from other parts of the world affect the ecosystem and native plants here. Specifically, my research looked at dormant seeds buried in the soil of oak woodlands, and whether there were enough seeds there to bring back the historic ecosystem after an introduced shrub was removed.
