  I'm an orbital warfare officer in the Space Force. I am doing a tour at the United States Air Force Academy in the biology department. I teach botany and introductory biology to the cadets here. I received my graduate degree in astrobotany, or the study of plants in space. My research goals are to genetically modify plants for the spaceflight environment. PLANTS ARE AWESOME!

  You get to stay curious like a little kid! Never lose the desire to answer questions and question what is around you. You never done being a student!

  I also that I can make a whole new plant from just one cell of another plant. Can you take one of your cells and make a whole new you? No, not nearly as easily!!

  Growing up I wanted to be an astrophysicist. Instead I majored in biology. It's okay to change your mind. Spend your younger years exploring. It's also 100% acceptable to not know what you want to study. It takes a while to find your niche.

Did you take daily photos to have more data points of growth? Also, next time try to label your plants. It helps prevent confusion when you look back your results. How many seeds did you plant for each treatment? Can you tell me the success rates?…

Did you take daily photos to have more data points of growth? Also, next time try to label your plants. It helps prevent confusion when you look back your results. How many seeds did you plant for each treatment? Can you tell me the success rates? For example, 6 out 12 plants grew (50% success rate). Additionally, measurements are you taking of the plants? Are you also measuring height?
