    When and why did you decide to go into a science career?

    I have had a passion for Science since an early age, it was my favorite class in school! I am very curious about how nature works. I remember when I was about 10 y.o. my mom gave me a microscope kit, I got amazed and started to collect plants, insects, rocks, etc, to see them under the microscope! So, naturally, I decided to pursue a science career as I got older.

    What is best about being a scientist?

    The best thing about being a scientist is that you are always learning something new!

    What is tough about being a scientist?

    The toughest thing about being a scientist is that, sometimes, things do not work as planned. Thus, you need to learn how to deal with frustration, overcome your challenges, reconsider your plans, and restart your experiment.

Hi Christian, 

Yes, the color does affect the photosynthesis rate. Green Light is not good for photosynthesis because this light is not absorbed. This happens because the chloroplasts are green, thus the green light is reflected.
