  I taught first grade for 10 years and was our grade level chair for 8 of those 10 years. I coordinated and ran the science fair for 6 years for the K-2 students trying to instill in them a love for exploration of ideas that intrigued them. I now teach 6 grade science and try to incorporate as many hands on activities in my classroom as possible.
