  I am researching desert ecology, specifically the plant-insect interactions between barrel cacti and ants. In addition to these interactions, I am hoping to understand the cellular and developmental biology of a structure on these barrel cacti called "extrafloral nectaries", which ants are attracted to.

This is a great update. I definitely recommend changing out any paper towels that start to get gross to prevent any molding. It is cool that you are already seeing red cellophane petri dishes doing well. Which color are you seeing the…
