  I am a plant scientist, with special interest in the functional anatomy of plants. I have done research on hydraulic architecture of woody plants and plant biomechanics. Also, I do research on the eco-physiology of plant parasites. On the applied side of my work, I am the co-inventor of a new way to control parasite plants. With a Brazilian colleague, we developed a compound that causes the wilting of the parasite, without damaging the tree host. We apply this stuff with a gotcha applicator.

Sorry for not having been in contact with you sooner! I see now where the name of your team come from! Good idea to work with spices. Which spices are you thinking on? How large are the seeds?

The most challenging part of your project will be to simulate three different environments (and altitudes!). We must be very ingenious to accomplish this, with a low budget, in a short time. But we will try it together!

So, tell me which species are you planning to use. Send pictures of your spices.
