Thanks for sharing your observations! Interesting that your artificial light plants started out looking weaker but are now the stronger looking plants of the two. You're right that your plants may not be thriving due to a disease. Ideally you would be able to control the moisture level in the soil between your treatments, but this is very difficult to do! Too much water can cause fungal or bacterial diseases and wilting while too little water can lead to wilting and nutrient deficiencies. Since a lot of the symptoms overlap between issues, it is often difficult to tell exactly what is causing unhealthy plants.
