Marcus -  you have developed an interesting research question. Have you developed your experimental design? You will measure the duration of exposure, but keep the light intensity constant? Will you expose plants to different durations of light (for example, some plants get 8 hours, some 12 hours, etc)? What will you measure about the plants to figure out if the duration of light exposure is having an effect? You should consider using several plants (or replicates) for each light treatment, so perhaps 3-5 plants for each light exposure duration if you can. What do you consider your control treatment, what will you compare the other light exposures to? Please let me know if you have questions, I am excited to see what you develop!
