  I am a spanish biologist with large experience in tropical biology!
  I have worked with sea turtles, insects, medicinal plants, fire adaptations (in plants), forest services, environmental education as well as a tourist guide in Panama and Costa Rica.

  What is the coolest thing you have discovered or learned about plants?

  for me the coolest thing about plants is cooevolution with animals, specially with insects and birds!
  for example the european bee orchid and the cooevolution with the bee that pollynates it. The way how the plant just simulates the female of the bee species, and how the male is sure about what he is smelling and seeing. It's just amazing

  I've always been a bit nerd...it's hard when you are in high school, but it's just a fase, soon you will realise (and all the people arround) how cool is to like science and just know things that "normal" people don't know, and just spread all your knowledge!

  undesrtand how things work. At firs everything is new and hard to understand, but soon in your career you start to know more and link things, and it becomes wonderful, understand how the natural world works
