Dear Briana

Regarding question 1: Temperature is an important driver of cell functions mostly due to effect on enzyme activity. In case of photosynthesis the main enzyme RUBISO has increased affinity for oxygen at higher temperatures that leads to loss of carbon dioxide captured by leaves. however this happens in C3 plants. In another type of plants called C4 which have a dual photosynthesis machinery such problems do not occur and carbon dioxide that could have been lost is captured by another pathway. C4 plants have a special leaf anatomy called Kranz anatomy

In case of Question 3:  Leaf colour is due to a host of pigments such as chlorophylls, carotenoids,  anthocyanins and many more out of which only chlorophyll can do photosynthesis by capturing sunlight and using the energy for breakdown of water that releases oxygen and hydrogen. Oxygen is released in air and hydrogen is used for creating energy currency.  

QNo2: Regarding space requirement, it depends on the plant architecture of canopy. If there is shading then it may affect light perception of lower leaves and affect photynthesis. however if plants are upright with upper canopy not shading lower, it does not make significant impact.

It was quite astonishing to see your passion about your experiments and eagerness of reporting your observation. Whatever may be your results even though observations may be irrational due to less experimental rigor but it will prepare you to set up experiments and be able to appreciate the differences between treatments. 

I wish you an enjoying trip and once you come back we cam have more fruitful discussions.
