Profile Question 1Do you have advice for students about preparing for a science career?
-
Answer the question you selected for profile question 1 here (300 words):Educate yourself rather than waiting for the teacher. Learn the science that excites you. If you go deep into it, it will eventually connect all branches of science and math. learn your way up and stay excited. Be outdoors, watch nature and follow your mind.

Profile Question 2What lessons have you learned in your career about how science works?
-
Answer the question you selected for profile question 2 here (300 words):Staying focused, removing bias, testing over and over again, staying curious has helped me. Science has taught me that the entire universe is our lab, and mysterious things happen here. But only man can unfold the whys and hows with our scientific mind. Science works in logical simple way. Simplicity is at its heart. If you read enough physics, chemistry and biology, certain methods and results of biology will seem very intuitive and logical.

Profile Question 3Can you describe your attitude toward science when you were in high school?
-
Answer the question you selected for profile question 3 here (300 words):In high school, I loved things with definite comprehensible answers. No one can argue if 2+2 is 4 or 5, but people can about the character of a leader. The understanding of how biological systems such as my own body worked, at the cellular and molecular level, fascinated me.

Hello Brynna,
Those are good questions!
My research is not so much about the evolution of plants, but more about how they work- their physiology. But perhaps your other mentors may be able to answer this question better. Most evolutionary…
