• Describe your teaching experience and interests in a brief public biography (200 words)

  I have been teaching high school and middle school science courses for 30 years. My last twenty-two years have been the most rewarding; teaching the military dependent children at the Department of Defense Education Activity, Quantico Marine Corps Base, Quantico, Virginia. Although I am a trained biologist, I love teaching earth science, chemistry, biotechnology , environmental science as well as middle school science. For the last six years I have become actively involved with STEM education and Trout in The Classroom.
