About Our Class

  • Teacher: Ken Bateman
  • School: Wellesley Senior High School
  • Grades: High School Students (Grades 9,10,11,12)

What We're Doing

  • Planning to Start: 2/13/23
  • Planning to End: 4/28/23
  • Theme: The Wonder of Seeds (seed germination and growth)
  • Expected Breaks: 2/20-2/24 and 4/17-4/22

Our Outcomes

I would like to have my students look at factors relating to germination of seeds and the overall growth of those seeds over a 2 month period. It is my hope that they will design an experiment to look at those factors that affect germination and growth. I am hoping that students will design the experiment and the parameters by which they will measure the success of the growth of the plants. I would like the students to be able to report out o what they learned at our annual science poster night at Wellesley High School that happens in May.
