I have been a teacher with Planting Science for quite a few years and look forward each fall to this exciting program.  In the past, I have used The Wonder of Seeds with my seventh grade students but due to a curriculum change it is now part of my 6th grade curriculum.

These students will be in 18 groups that meet daily for a 40 minute session. They will be utilizing the Wonder of Seeds platform to begin their journey into the scientific method process while studying seed germination.  They are spending initially reviewing terms like hypothesis, variables (independent, dependent, control group, controlled variables) , procedure, data collection, results, and conclusion while understanding the importance of communication.  

Throughout this we will be studying plants, the germination process and development of various types of plants.  We look forward to a great fall planting season!
