  • School: Santaluces High School
  • Grades: High School Students (Grades 9,10,11,12)

What We're Doing

  • Planning to Start: 2/15/24
  • Planning to End: 4/19/24
  • Theme: Agronomy Feeds the World (where does food come from?)
  • Expected Breaks: March 15 - March 25 = Spring Break 3/29/24 -4/1/24 Easter 4/10 Spring Holiday
  • Course: Earth Space Science

Our Outcomes

I want my students to become aware of the vital issues facing us -- climate change, food scarcity, and sea level rise. Agronomy is perfect for this as their learning will be enriched by our Geology and Environmental studies. This will be exciting. I can devote class time without the restrictions of state testing. I believe my students will benefit tremendously by doing the science and learning the issues. As I tell them, "You are the voters of tomorrow."
