About Our Class

  • Teacher: William Bartenslager
  • School: Palm Beach Central High School
  • Grades: High School Students (Grades 9,10,11,12)

What We're Doing

  • Planning to Start: 2/17/20
  • Planning to End: 4/24/20
  • Theme: The Wonder of Seeds (seed germination and growth)
  • Expected Breaks: students should be able to access the website even during spring break
  • Course: Experimental Science Honors I-III

Our Outcomes

My Experimental Science course has no set curriculum, other than each student conducts a high level individual research project/experiment to compete at the regional, SSEF and ISEF. I had a couple of botany courses in college, and find that students really don't appreciate plants. I think this would be a great way to introduce students to the biology of plants, along with the application of our dependence on plants.
