About Our Class

  • Teacher: Sharon Harris
  • School: Mercy McAuley High School
  • Grades: High School Students (Grades 9,10,11,12)

What We're Doing

  • Planning to Start: 9/18/19
  • Planning to End: 11/6/19
  • Theme: Plants Get Sick, Too!
  • Course: Botany

Our Outcomes

Students will have the thrill of working with scientists in-the-field and the joys of success and failure when conducting experiments. I want my students to recognize they are capable of problem-solving, creativity in designing experiments, and communicating with mentors who are not their teacher. Probably the greatest result I expect is that students will gain confidence in what they can do and an excitement about a world with which they are quite unfamiliar.
