About Our Class

  • Teacher: Carrie Bradley
  • School: Lincolnton High School
  • Grades: High School Students (Grades 9,10,11,12)

What We're Doing

  • Planning to Start: 10/7/19
  • Planning to End: 11/23/19
  • Theme: Foundations of Genetics (traits, variation and environment in rapidly cycling Brassica)
  • Course: AP Biology

Our Outcomes

I want my students to gain a better understanding of how all science is carried out, have more confidence in developing their own labs and have a better appreciation for the complexity of plant physiology and behavior. For me personally I would like to learn more about how plants respond to our changing climate and hydrology (salinity levels and saturation times). My hope is that a few of my teams will look into these issues. I always learn so much when my students go through planting science and develop their labs. I am teaching 9-12 grade honors and AP biology students.
