About Our Class

  • Teacher: Emily Richbourg
  • School: Anna Jonesboro High School
  • Grades: High School Students (Grades 9,10,11,12)

What We're Doing

  • Planning to Start: 2/14/2022
  • Planning to End: 4/8/2022
  • Theme: Agronomy Feeds the World (where does food come from?)
  • Expected Breaks: None
  • Course: Ecology - Dual credit course

Our Outcomes

By participating in the Agronomy Feeds the World investigation, I hope that my students develop a greater understanding of where their food comes from. I also want them to deepen their appreciation of farmers and scientists who work together to make sure the food they eat is safe and available for them. Hunger is a world-wide problem that they need to have an appreciation for so they don't take their food for granted.
