About Our Class

  • Teacher: Patricia Ewing
  • School: Aquinas Columbus
  • Grades: High School Students (Grades 9,10,11,12)

What We're Doing

  • Planning to Start: 2/15/21
  • Planning to End: 4/10/21
  • Theme: Celery Challenge (plant anatomy, osmosis and diffusion)
  • Expected Breaks: No
  • Course: Honors general biology

Our Outcomes

Outcomes for students center around successfully completing real lab experiments. With the the change in class venue it is difficult to have all my students on board from the initial question of an experiment through to the results analysis and formation of new questions. My high school biology students are all freshmen. My hope is to increase learning potential and retention through contact with a. Science mentor. My students matured as scholars this first semester. I believe they are.ready for this type of science learning experience.
