  Research, discovery, exploration, and field work as it can be applied in the classroom to enhance students interest in becoming future scientists.

  I have favorite trees, flowers, and grasses. Native Crab Apple trees are only one of my favorites and another favorite tree is the Yellow Poplar/Tulip Tree.

  Can you describe your attitude toward science when you were in high school?

  When I was in high school, I took all of the courses (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science) expected for college preparation in anticipation of majoring in a scientific subject area. In retrospect, I felt somewhat unprepared for the immersion and intensity in subsequent college science classes. Some of this related to lack of field work for instance in biology, while there was a disconnect between learning about theories/principles and scientific application. There was a void when learning about 'scientific methodology and interpretation of results'.

1) What are the 'instructions' for the fertilizer?

2)  Are you comparing the different type of fertilizer applications for your project?

3)  Can you tell me what is your outcome variable or how are you testing your research question/hypothesis?
