    What is best about being a scientist?

    Research, discovery, exploration, and field work as it can be applied in the classroom to enhance students interest in becoming future scientists.

    What is your favorite plant? Why?

  • Answer the question you selected for profile question 2 here (300 words):
    I have favorite trees, flowers, and grasses. Native Crab Apple trees are only one of my favorites and another favorite tree is the Yellow Poplar/Tulip Tree.

    Can you describe your attitude toward science when you were in high school?

  • Answer the question you selected for profile question 3 here (300 words):
    When I was in high school, I took all of the courses (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science) expected for college preparation in anticipation of majoring in a scientific subject area. In retrospect, I felt somewhat unprepared for the immersion and intensity in subsequent college science classes. Some of this related to lack of field work for instance in biology, while there was a disconnect between learning about theories/principles and scientific application. There was a void when learning about 'scientific methodology and interpretation of results'.

I am glad to see your experimental results.  The graph and chart look good.  I would suggest adding the units to the Y axis (vertical axis). Have you summarized your conclusions?
