The Fisherman

Project by group whsrhinefall2020

Explore From our experiences outside of school we know that plants need sunlight, space to grow, water, nutrients and air. What we have discoverd in class and background resarch is that the mass of a plant comes from carbon dioxide. A question about plants that interest us is how does the mass of the seeds change?
Research Question Will all the seeds grow the same?
Predictions Our hypothesis for this experiment is that the plant that will be placed in light and be waterd will have more mass then the other two because the other two are not getting enough light or water.
Experimental Design Step 1 gather materials Step 2 place towel on petri dish Step 3 place 1g of seed on towel Step 4 add water to dish 1 and place on window Step 5 add water to dish 2 and place in cabnet Step 6 take dish 3 and place on window Step 7 wait 1 to 2 weeks Step 8 place seed in drying oven Step 9 weigh the mass Step 10 record the mass Step 11 make graph
