From our experiences outside of school we know that plants use photosynthesis to make their own food. In class we discovered that the mass of a plant comes form carbon and not from water. |
Research Question |
Where does a plant get its mass? |
Predictions |
Our hypothesis is that the seeds that will get water and light will have more mass than the rest because the other seeds will only get water or light not both. |
Experimental Design |

Step 6: Take dish 3 and place by window
Step 7: Leave in conditioner 1-2 weeks
Step 8: Place each dish in drying oven
