Explore We know that plants give us air. They take in water, soil, sunlight and carbon. We have discovered that the mass of a plant doesn't come from soil and mostly comes from carbon.how can I prove where the weight is coming from?
Research Question How does a tree/ plant grow so much when it’s in a little seed?
Predictions We think that dish 1 is going to have the greatest mass and dish 2 will have the smallest mass
Experimental Design 1) Gather materials 2) Place paper towels on petri dish 3) Put 1 gram of radish on ach dish 4) For dish 1 add water and place it into the light 5) For dish 2 add water and place it into the dark 6) for dish 3 place in the window with no water 7) Leave petri dish there for 1-2 week 8) put dishes in drying oven 9) Weigh the mass of dry seeds 10) Write results on table 11) Make a bar graph
