Explore From our experiences outside of school we know that plants are essential to everyday life and have a big impact on the community around us. Questions that interest us more is how all the plants will get the correct amount of nutrients.
Research Question Does the environmental setting affect the change in mass?
Predictions For our hypothesis my group decided that dish 3 with have the greatest amount of growth while dish 1 will have the least amount.
Experimental Design Gather your materials Place 3 paper towels in Petri dishes Place 1g of radish seeds in each dish Place dish 1 in light with water Place dish 2 in the dark with water Place dish 3 in light with no water 7. Leave the dishes for 1-2 weeks 8. Remove and place dishes in drying oven to remove water 9. Weigh the dried seeds mass 10. Write your results in a table 11. Make a bar graph
